Overview

Z-Shield® (3250)
  • Excellent EMI Shielding (10 MHz to 20 GHz)
  • High Flexibility Applications
  • Flame Retardant Polyurethane Jacket
  • Easy Installed Adhesive Closure

Z-Shield® (3250) is a wrap-around EMI shielding solution that features a secure, permanent adhesive closure. The jacketing is the PFR-8235 material, which is flexible, lightweight, flame-retardant, and provides protection against abrasion. The PFR-8235 material is RoHS compliant and contains no PVC, making it the ideal choice for nuclear, aerospace, and military applications where PVC material is prohibited.

The Z-3250 shielding cloth is made from a polyester taffeta fabric that has a nickel-over-copper coating to provide excellent corrosion resistance. The cloth has exceptional shielding performance at 98% coverage. If required, a grounding braid can be incorporated into the solution for applications that may need burial. The grounding strap is a braided and flattened tin-plated copper wire.

Z-Shield® (3250) is engineered for diameters ranging from 0.25” to 4”, with custom sizes available upon request. The operational temperature ranges from -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C).

Z-Shield® (3250) is also available on Amazon for 1” diameter components and comes in a convenient 3-foot roll.

ATTENUATION DATA WAS OBTAINED USING MIL-DTL-83528H (MODIFIED). TESTING WAS PERFORMED BY ACCREDITED, THIRD-PARTY EMI LABORATORIES.
